I’m creative, energetic and outgoing at heart — art and surfing have always been my two biggest passions, and I’ve been lucky enough to build both my lifestyle and my career around them.

As a teenager I competed at a national level surfing in Brazil and was on track for a career as a professional surfer, before choosing an academic path instead. I moved to São Paulo for university, earned my degree in Social Communication and Advertising, and went on to work at some of Brazil’s biggest advertising agencies — Fnazca Saatchi & Saatchi and Dentsu.

After finishing my degree, I held an exhibition of my own artwork and left Brazil to see the world and chase my dream surf spots. I’ve surfed in Peru, travelled the West Coast of the U.S., explored New Zealand, Central America and the Caribbean, and lived in Bali for five months — travel has become a passion in its own right, right alongside art and surfing.

Today I’m a New Zealand citizen, based in Mount Maunganui for the past 10 years, where art, the ocean and an ever-curious spirit continue to shape everything I create.
